L'Osteria in Dresden

Food is excellent. Fast preparation, very convenient for lunch break during working day. Staff is professional and very kind.

You sense a good atmosphere there and all waiters talk good English. Tiramisu was unbelievable good ?.

Everything was okay but nothing was exceptional. Especially the pizza. It could have been so good with better ingredients and unburnt crust.

If you come here and want to eat pizza, you should definitely be hungry. The pizzas are very big, but extremely tasty. I can only recommend genuine! However, only 4 stars, as the restaurant was pretty full and that during Corona times. Otherwise: great food, great service, nice seating.

Smarter invite and nice conditions. Also very tasty and above all large pizzas for a chain. I recommend reserving a place in advance (especially with 3+), as there is a lot going on, but even without a reservation the staff will try to find a place for you.

Despite Corona stress, the employees are very friendly. It also works if you have little time to linger, everything went quickly and the quality was right.

I would like to report on an impossible incident that occurred on Friday, September 25th, 2020 in the Dresden branch, Wilsdruffer Strasse. My wife and I had ordered pizza and were served cold (not lukewarm, but actually cold!). When we do this complained, the pizzas were literally torn from the table without a word, without apology. After about 5 minutes we were served the same cut pizzas again - warmed up! When I asked if this was meant seriously - we had finally ordered fresh, warm pizza, the male waitress replied very unfriendly, very spicy, and very loud, literally: "... what do you think where you are here ... of course, in such a case, the pizza is not" fresh "but warmed up ...". Completely stunned by this statement and unwilling to accept it, we ask him about a responsible person in the house - the response of the waitress: "... there is no ...". After repeated requests, he did not tell us his name either! So we immediately paid for our opened drinks (initially they even wanted to bill us for the pizzas!) went away totally disappointed and with a growling stomach. Our last day of vacation in Dresden was a thorough one ... We immediately reported this incident to L'Osteria - until today without any feedback. ... somehow indicative.

They are understuffed. Waiting times for the food are up to one hour. Also they bring pizzas almost cold. Salad comes after pizza. Anyway the food is really good.

Saturday evening get the last seat without reservation. When ordering, the cellar said that it unfortunately takes at least 45 minutes to eat because there is a lot going on. Wasn't in a hurry. Food was still there after a good 30 minutes, and the whole service was prompt. Pizza was delicious as usual in the chain.

Very tasty food and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately had to wait a very long time to be served even though it wasn't overly crowded. The starters came after the main courses, which was also very surprising. It was simply put on the table without a word. I hope we had a bad day :)

Very nice and courteous staff. The food was very tasty. Price / performance is good. There is no pizza for € 7, but the quality is great :-) I had the "gnocchi caprese" and can recommend it - very tasty. We'd love to come back.

Always tasty

Visited for the first time and loved the ambience of the location, music, and of course the food ... the pizza was AWESOME, soup and noodles were also TOP. And even if we had to wait a little too long after the soup, our waitress always looked after us and gave us feedback. Definitely RECOMMENDED. The rest of my pizza was given to a man who asked for food .... fits !!!

We didn't know this restaurant chain yet and were happy to have got a table outside despite Corona, summer weather and a lack of reservations. In view of the rush, people were standing in a long queue, the food came after an acceptable time (about 40 minutes). But you were compensated for the waiting time with a really tasty pizza the diameter of a helipad. The service was ok and the prices reasonable.

I take turns eating at this L‘Osteria and the one on Prager Straße and I have to say that L‘Osteria on Prager Straße is far better when it comes to service. The waiters are friendly at both of them, but the waiting times at this L‘Osteria are simply unacceptable. It cannot be that you wait almost an hour several times (!) For the meal and then, despite asking, wait just as long for the bill. The dessert was often completely forgotten and I left without dessert because I didn't feel like waiting any longer. The food at L‘Osteria on Prager Straße sometimes just tastes better.

I really enjoy going out to eat with you and it tastes delicious every time! Now I thought that I can have them delivered, so thank you Lieferando for taking my pizza for a half hour walk and for the cold pizza that I was looking for I waited for an hour when I can wait again until it is warm again in my oven .... After all, it is cut as desired, maybe it will work even better if I know that it would be great if I can enjoy it warm. ... L'Osteria is too good for the delivery service.

SERVICE is also very important in Dresden. That's why this is our favorite Italian food chain right now. The focus here is on the guest and the pizzas are delicious! In terms of price, as everywhere, absolutely within the framework. We look forward to the next visit to an L'Osteria ...

Food not very tasty..

Friendly people. Of course you should reserve on Saturday. The pizzas are huge, we didn't make it. The bruschetta was good, just too much in advance ;-) I found it appealing inside too. And the toilets were clean.

Really tasty. Sat right next to the kitchen. Great for the kids. Very friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately, we witnessed the Monday demonstration of the Afd-minded people on which there were incidents with the leftists and the police right at the restaurant. Very exciting for the kids. Which the restaurant is not responsible for but then maybe you shouldn't eat here on Mondays.

Nice pizza.

The tables in the restaurant were cleaned perfectly and the seating was very comfortable. My husband and I are very pleasantly surprised. We'll all be back for sure, the waiters are particularly nice and very accommodating every time. That makes me and my husband really happy with every visit. Mother and I were there too together and each of us ordered something different, for my part I can say that I tasted (a) little of everything and it was all good.

Good pizza

We haven eaten at LOsteria probably 30 times in Futh and would always rate it at a 4 to a 5 which means we like their food. Unfortunately at this location in Dresden the food was flavorless, main course served before appetizer, no graded cheese, no spicy oil, the buffalo Mozzarella tomatoes where not ripe and the list goes on. Never fear the waitress knew the food was bad so didn't bother to ask all the time she was apologizing to other tables and offering complementary drinks. Knowing the poor food was not waitresses fault we still tipped her well but would recommend the manager become more involved in quality control.

Fantastic place for family dinner.

Very tasty and especially large pizzas with a very thin batter. Definitely to be recommended! I will definitely visit again on my next visit to Dresden.

Traditional italian kitchen, delicious.

Despite the hectic and slightly overcrowded situation in the restaurant, we were served quickly and got our drinks quickly. We only had to put up with a longer waiting time for the dishes. Food and drinks were of high quality and experience has shown that the pizza was way too big, so that we rolled out of the restaurant blissfully in the end.

The food was excellent and the staff was lightning fast!

Dear friends, today we celebrated Bettina's birthday with the family at L'Osteria in Dresden. A very good and recommendable Italian, with a wide range of freshly prepared, delicious typical Italian dishes and desserts. A very large selection of drinks rounds off the whole thing. You can sit comfortably outside, enjoy the sun and be served. The staff is friendly and tries to fulfill every request.
